3. Website & E-Commerce Policy

3.1. Accuracy of Information
We strive to display the colors and designs of our wrapping papers and ribbons as accurately as possible. However, due to screen display variations, we cannot guarantee that your monitor’s display reflects the exact texture or color of materials.
3.2. Electronic Contracts
Placing an order via our website constitutes an offer. Acceptance of your order occurs when we send a confirmation WhatsApp message or email (or when we begin physical wrapping of the goods).
3.3. Language
In compliance with UAE law, our terms and invoices are available in both English and Arabic.
4. Delivery & Pick-up Policy
4.1. Service Area
We currently serve the Dubai metropolitan area, specifically around Al Mankhool, Bur Dubai, and Business Bay. For other Emirates, please contact us for a custom quote.
4.2. Drop-off & Collection
Customer Drop-off: You may drop your unwrapped gifts at our 1F CBD building location in Al Mankhool.
Collection: For a fee, we offer “We Come to You” services where we collect the gift from your location and return it wrapped.
Courier Delivery: We use third-party land transport services compliant with Ministerial Decision No. (82) of 2026 regarding delivery pricing .
4.3. Delivery Delays
If we anticipate a delay in your order, we will notify you immediately. If a delay exceeds the agreed timeframe and renders the gift unusable for the intended occasion (e.g., birthday passed), you are entitled to a full refund of the service fee per Article 7 of Decree-Law No. 14/2023 .
5. Cancellation & Returns Policy (Consumer Rights)
Pursuant to Cabinet Decision No. 66/2023 and Federal Law No. 15/2020
5.1. Right of Withdrawal (Remote Orders)
If you order wrapping services online without having visited our physical store, you have the right to cancel the order within 14 days of placing the deposit, provided we have not started the physical wrapping process.
5.2. Return of “Goods” (The Gift Inside)
Shamofy is a Service provider. We wrap your items.
Liability: We are liable for damage caused to the contents of the gift only if the damage results from our negligence (e.g., cutting too deep into the box).
Claim Process: If you believe we damaged your item, you must inspect it immediately upon receipt. Claims must be filed within 48 hours of delivery.
5.3. Service-Related Complaints
If you are unhappy with the quality of the wrapping (loose paper, crooked bow, etc.):
Please photograph the issue.
Contact us within 7 days.
We will re-wrap the item at no charge. If a re-wrap is impossible, we will refund 50% to 100% of the wrapping fee based on the severity of the defect.
5.4. Non-Returnable Items
We do not accept returns or refunds for wrapping services rendered on:
Perishable items (food baskets, flowers).
Items where the customer provided specific, complex 3D materials that were pre-approved.
6. Warranty & Guarantee Conditions
Per Executive Regulation of the Consumer Protection Law (Cabinet Resolution No. 66/2023)
6.1. The “Not Lasting” Warranty
Gift wrapping is an artistic service. We guarantee the structural integrity of our wrapping (tape adhesion, bow stability) for 7 days from the date of pick-up/delivery, provided the gift has been stored in a normal indoor environment (not in a car trunk at 50°C/122°F or exposed to rain).
6.2. Defects in Service (Article 27 of the Law)
If a defect in the wrapping is discovered within the warranty period, the consumer is entitled to:
Have the service re-performed (re-wrap).
A reduction in the service price.
Compensation if the defect has caused damage to the original gift.
6.3. Exclusions
Damage caused by the recipient opening the gift (we can’t guarantee the paper stays intact if it’s ripped open!).
Items that bleed ink or melt due to their own material composition.
7. Liability & Data Privacy
7.1. Lost Items
We maintain a secure logbook for all items left at our Al Mankhool location. In the unlikely event we lose your item, our liability is limited to the actual value of the unwrapped gift up to a maximum of [e.g., 500 AED], unless you have declared a higher value and paid an additional insurance fee prior to service.
7.2. Data Security (Decree-Law No. 14/2023)
We collect your name, address, phone number, and email solely to complete the delivery of your service. We do not sell your data to third parties. Our payment gateways are PCI compliant to ensure e-security .
7.3. Intellectual Property
The design of our wrapping (specific folds, proprietary ribbon styling) is the intellectual property of Shamofy. You may not request a service solely to copy our techniques for a competing business.

Escalation:
If we cannot resolve your complaint, you may escalate the matter to the UAE Ministry of Economy or the relevant local economic department in Dubai (Commercial Compliance & Consumer Protection – CCP section) .
9. Service Agreement Form (To be signed for High-Value Items)
For transactions involving items valued over [X] AED, the following clause applies:
Valuation Clause:
I, the customer, acknowledge that my item is worth [Value] AED. I have been given the option to have Shamofy wrap this item, and I accept that Shamofy’s liability for accidental damage is capped at [X] AED unless I have paid an additional 5% insurance handling fee.
